Sheridan Maine is supporting a forward-thinking West Midlands-based chartered accountancy firm in their search for an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior. Key Responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior:
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring timely delivery of accounting services.
  • Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Producing management accounts and providing financial analysis to clients.
  • Handling general tax filings, including VAT, payroll, and personal tax returns.
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to overall team success.
  • Assisting with general office administration tasks as required.

The successful Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior will have/be:
  • AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified (PQ).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting practice
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero and Dext.
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
