What you’ll be doing as an Innovation Project Manager
- Manage multiple projects and work streams across the innovation portfolio.
- Support in aspects of governance, benefit realisation, risk, and lessons learned in consultation with Thames Waters Project Management practices and processes.
- Work closely with the Innovation Engagement Delivery Manager to develop and enhance Project Management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
- Build strong relationships with key organisational stakeholders.
- Ensure that projects are aligned with Thames Water's strategic goals and deliver tangible business value.
- Track and report on project performance, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
- Oversee the design and implementation of detailed work plans and packages following the developed scope and schedule.
This role will be work 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday
What you should bring to the role of Project Manager
- Proven Project Management experience
- Qualified in APM or PRINCE2 or equivalent.
- Background of working in a technical environment.
- Proficiency with Project Management Software
- Stakeholder management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Competitive salary from £42,000 to £52,000 per annum
- 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
