Spares Warehouse Operative - Banbury - Full-Time

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a background in warehousing, stores, or spares? We're recruiting for a Spares Warehouse Operative to join a busy and dynamic team in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Rotating across goods-in, picking/despatch, and site request duties
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods
• Packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Assembling system components and site equipment
• Managing stock levels and performing rolling inventory checks
• Creating commercial invoices for international shipments
• Operating forklifts and assisting with deliveries and collections
• Supporting with general repairs, PAT testing, and fabrication tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate picking and packing of parts
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised workspaces
• Collaborate with technical and purchasing teams
• Inspect returned tools and warranty items
• Participate in stocktaking and out-of-hours call-out rota

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or spares environment
• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Basic IT literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel locally

Desirable Extras

• NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing & Storage
• First Aid or Health & Safety certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage)
• Familiarity with lean principles or continuous improvement

Salary: £26,740 per annum
Call-Outs: One week per month, paid at £200 for being on call, plus an additional £50 if called out
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
