Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a leading supplier  of high-quality temporary buildings who design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base, based in Totton, Southampton. This is a temp to perm position. 

 

Responsibilities as a Transport Administrator: 

 

  • Providing Administration support to the team 

  • Supporting with planning routes to ensure a timely delivery and collection time for Clients

  • Maintain electronic and paper record of transport activities 

  • Providing necessary reports when needed 

  • Maintaining strong relationships undertaking timely communication by telephone and e-mail to plan deliveries, schedule repairs and gather post installation feedback

  • You will be responsible for placing orders for consumables, materials and vehicle repairs along with providing support to the office team with generating quotations for customers

 

Requirements for this Administration Assistant:

  • Strong administration experience 

  • Must be available to start immediately

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to work alone and as part of a team 

  • Our Client is looking for an experienced transport administrator

  • Our Client is moving to Alton in the next 18 to 24 months and therefore expects applicants to be able to commute to this location when they re locate 

 

The Role:

  • £14.36 per hour 

  • Temp to perm role 

  • Weekly pay

  • Working hours are Monday until Friday 8am until 5pm

  • This role is office based
