Job Description

HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity
 We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role after 10 weeks.

 
This role is predominantly Class 2 driving (around 90%), with a small amount of Class 1 work required from time to time. Occasionally, you may also be required to drive a manual 7.5-tonne vehicle.


5 days per week Mon-Fri

 
Job Details: 

    •  General haulage work


    •  Palletised deliveries with some handball involved


    •  Up to 10 drops per day


    •  One night out per week (vehicles are fully equipped for overnight stays)



     
 
Requirements: 

    •  Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience


    •  Clean driving licence


    •  Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Class 1 advantageous)


    •  Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card


    •  Comfortable with handball and multi-drop work


    •  Reliable and professional approach
