Job Description

Class 1 Driver –  (Carrington)



 
We are currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with based in Carrington. This role offers ongoing, reliable work with a well-established logistics company.


 

The Role:


 



    •  
      Trunking and store delivery work from the Carrington depot





    •  
      Deliveries to regional distribution centres and customer sites





    •  
      Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely





    •  
      Completing vehicle checks and all relevant paperwork





    •  
      Representing the client in a professional manner







       


 

Shift Patterns:


 



    •  
      Days and night shifts available





    •  
      Flexible start times depending on routes







       


 

Pay Rates:


 



    •  
      £16.00 per hour (Days)





    •  
      £17.00 per hour (Nights)







       


 

Requirements:


 



    •  
      Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence





    •  
      Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card





    •  
      Good understanding of driver hours and regulations





    •  
      Reliable and punctual







       


 

Additional Information:

      Mixture of trunking and store delivery work

      Minimal handball depending on route
