Our client in Wolverhampton is an Established Engineering company  supplying high-precision components to the automotive and aerospace sectors. With a commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, we are currently seeking an experienced Capstan setter to join their skilled team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Safely and effectively set and operate Capstan lathes to produce precision parts
  
  
• Monitor machinery during operation and promptly report any issues or irregularities
  
  
• Check and maintain coolant levels, topping up as required
  
  
• Take personal responsibility for safety, ensuring adherence to all health and safety protocols
  
  
• Work collaboratively with management and colleagues, including participation in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) training and guidance
  
   
  
  

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Capstan lathe setting/operating role
  
  
• Familiarity with precision machining for automotive or aerospace applications is an advantage
  
  
• A strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
