Quality Inspector

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a specialist engineering manufacturer operating on a global scale. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in precision machining environments who enjoys working with complex components and tight tolerances.


You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of high-precision machined parts across a range of materials, supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining the highest quality standards.


Hours: 

• 07:00 - 15:30 Mon - Thurs
• 07:00 - 14:30 Fri

Salary - D.O.E

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection of precision machined components using manual and CMM inspection methods
• Operation, setting and programming of CMM machines, ideally Wenzel XO55
• Dimensional inspection against engineering drawings and specifications
• Identification and reporting of non-conformances
• Working closely with production and engineering teams to support quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a machine shop or precision engineering environment
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection techniques
• CMM experience is essential (Wenzel experience highly desirable)
• Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance components
• A detail-focused, methodical approach to work
