Skilled Wood Machinist
Permanent role - £15.34 per hour
Monday to Friday - 06:30am - 16:30pm

Pertemps are exclusively representing a leading shop fitting business who are looking for a skilled wood machinist! They specialise in bespoke design and manufacturing, crafting high-quality hardwood joinery, architectural metalwork, and custom bronze or stainless-steel doors and frames.
You will be responsible for machining various types of timber to meet customer specifications, working within a small, skilled team to uphold our high standards. Your role will involve operating the following machines:

" Panel saw
" Cross-cut saw
" Multi-rip saw
" 6-block moulder planer
" Spindle moulders
" Wide belt sander
" Surfacer

Your duties will include:

" Operating a CNC router
" Ensure precision and quality in all machining tasks
" Work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
" Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
" Adhere to all health and safety regulations
