Business Development Manager - Door-to-Door Sales (Residential)
Location: Birmingham (covering the West Midlands)
Salary: £40,000 basic + uncapped commission
Hours: 11:30am - 7:30pm, Monday to Friday

Must have access to own vehicle

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to head up door-to-door residential sales activity across the West Midlands. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong background in direct residential sales, particularly within the fresh produce or dairy delivery sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible not only for driving their own sales, but also for building, training, and managing a high-performing canvassing team. You'll be based in Birmingham and will need access to your own vehicle to cover the local area.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Door-to-door canvassing in residential areas to promote and sell our delivery services
  • Recruiting, training and leading a small sales team
  • Hitting personal and team targets with a focus on quality and customer retention
  • Reporting on performance and identifying areas for growth

To be considered, you'll need:
  • A proven track record in residential door-to-door sales
  • Ideally, experience in selling fresh produce or dairy delivery services
  • Confidence in leading, developing, and motivating a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • To be based in Birmingham or very close by

We're also open to applicants from other sectors where door-to-door team leadership is key - including telecoms, utilities and charity fundraising.
