Laser Operator

Pertemps Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Trumpf Laser Operator & Setter to join a well-established machining and fabrication specialist based in the B33 area of Birmingham. This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity for someone looking to join a growing and supportive manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set Trumpf turret punch and laser machines.
• Work confidently with the Trumpf operating system.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Carry out a strict maintenance programme on all operating machinery.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all tasks.
• Work proactively as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with Trumpf machines.
• Competent in operating and setting laser machinery.
• Knowledge of different metals is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
