Job Description

We are recruiting a logistics operative to be working in the returns and pick & pack department, processing daily order and processing the return of items from the customer and involve in daily operation, with a strong emphasis on hands-on involvement alongside other warehouse colleagues. We seek an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for process improvement and leadership.

The main duties will be :
  • Picking orders accurately
  •  Packing orders
  •  To assist with the unloading and loading of deliveries if required
  •  Oversee the efficient handling of returns, including heavy and bulky items, actively participating in the physical work to ensure items are properly inspected, documented, and processed in adherence to company procedures.
  •  Implement and enforce quality control standards to preserve the quality of returned items.
  •  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate returns processing and ensure timely issue resolution
  •  Identify opportunities for minimising returns and reducing product damage during returns processing
  •  Maintain comprehensive records of returned items, documenting any damage, defects, or reasons for return.
  •  Be responsible Return for the test, cleaning and packing and ensuring they meet the customers criteria
  •  Achieve the set targets in all areas of work e.g. turnaround, productivity KPI's and customer expectations
  •  Maintain the accessories' location in a clean and structured manner to assist all clean and packers
  •  

The successful candidate will have the following skills

  •  Proven experience in a warehouse environment
  •  Experience of leading/managing team would be preferred, but not essential.
  •  Strong problem-solving skills, particularly related to returns processing and quality control.
  •  Familiarity with hands-on handling of heavy and bulky items. o Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  •  Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. o Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy and bulky items.
  •  Comfort working on the shop floor alongside other warehouse colleagues.
  •  Previous experience of working in a warehouse
  •  Excellent, professional work ethic
  •  Good team working skills and good communication skills
  •  Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
