My client is searching for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of their payroll processes within a start-up business in Bromsgrove. This role provides an exciting opportunity to grow with the company, offering hands-on involvement in building scalable payroll systems from the ground up. As the Payroll Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the company's growth, ensuring accurate payroll operations while collaborating closely with HR and finance. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process to ensure efficient and accurate payroll cycles.
- Maintain and update employee records using Sage payroll software.
- Work closely with the HR department to verify and maintain accurate employee information.
- Produce payroll reports and provide insights to management as required.
- Analyse payroll data, addressing discrepancies or issues as needed.
- Manage payroll-related accounts payable tasks.
- Ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in payroll management.
- Proficient in Sage payroll software.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing and interpreting payroll data.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles in relation to payroll.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
