Construction Insurance Specialist – Structural Defect Insurance Expert
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 basic + commission
 Hybrid (with travel to client sites as required)
 Full-Time, Permanent

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced Construction Insurance Consultant with proven knowledge of structural defect insurance to join our expert team.

About the Role:
You’ll act as a trusted consultant, advising clients from the earliest stages of development – often beginning at planning permission – and guiding them through tailored insurance and warranty solutions to suit their project needs. You’ll work with a wide variety of businesses, building strong, lasting relationships and offering expert insight to ensure full compliance and protection throughout the build process.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility, and includes a generous basic salary of £50,000 – £60,000, with commission opportunities available for performance-based earnings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with developers, builders, and housing professionals from planning through to post-completion
  • Advise on and tailor structural defect insurance and related building cover
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to add value through additional services or upgraded cover
  • Work closely with internal underwriting and technical teams to ensure client needs are met
About You:
  • Proven experience in structural/building insurance is essential
  • Strong understanding of the construction process and insurance requirements
  • Confident communicator and relationship-builder at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider technical and sales team
  • Consultative approach with a focus on quality, accuracy, and professionalism
