General Operative

Warehouse Operative 

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established company specialising in the production of steel products. This is a varied, hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to learn multiple skills across the production process.

Pay & Hours:

• £12.71 per hour

• Overtime available at a premium rate

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing finished concrete products ready for dispatch

• Packing products directly from production machinery

• Operating press machines (full training provided)

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

• Assisting with general warehouse and production duties

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work in a physically demanding role

• Good attention to detail, particularly for quality control

• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential

• Experience using SAP systems would be beneficial but is not essential
