Job Description

Hygiene Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Hygiene Operative to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities in our Wellingborough warehouse. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform deep cleaning of designated areas, machinery, and equipment according to established schedules and hygiene protocols.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
Assist with waste management and disposal.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities as required.

Working Hours & Pay:

Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Shift Times: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: £15 per hour

Requirements:

Proven experience in a cleaning or hygiene role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
Good communication skills.
Physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for long periods.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
