Yard Operative Wanted – Edinburgh (Murrayburn Area)

Location: Murrayburn, Edinburgh

Hours: 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 07:15 start

Contract: Temp to Perm

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Operative to join a busy builders’ merchants in the Murrayburn area of Edinburgh. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, values teamwork, and wants the opportunity for long-term employment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading materials using a forklift
• Assisting customers and delivery drivers in the yard
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and well-organized
• Supporting the yard and warehouse team with general duties

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Forklift Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar yard or warehouse role
• Punctual, dependable, and physically fit
• Can-do attitude and team spirit
