Job Description

Start date: ASAP

Location: Edinburgh

Duration: 3 weeks initially

Pay rate: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Saturday & Sunday 12pm-8pm
 

Main Duties:
  • Cleaning and maintaining rooms and communal areas to ensure they are presentable, hygienic, and welcoming for all residents and visitors.
  • Dusting and vacuuming various surfaces and floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Emptying bins regularly and ensuring waste is disposed of in accordance with site procedures.
  • Following Health & Safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment and protect the wellbeing of staff and residents.
  • Carrying out ad hoc cleaning tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
 
Key Skills:
  • Previous professional housekeeping experience.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, and how to use them safely and effectively.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
  • Good communication skills, especially when interacting with residents, colleagues, or visitors.
