Opportunity with a specialist architectural practice in Birmingham who are expanding their technical team to support a growing portfolio of international data centre projects. The company has developed a strong reputation within this highly technical sector and works closely with global clients delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure schemes.

Now looking for a proactive Architectural Technologist  / Technician with proficiency in Revit who wants more than just a production role. This position offers the opportunity to work directly alongside the Technical Director, playing a key role in developing high quality Revit models from early design concepts while coordinating information between consultants and subcontractors through to construction. For the right individual, there is a clear pathway to develop into a Data Centre Project Lead as you gain sector experience and take on increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Converting 2D design concepts into accurate, high-quality Revit models
  • Supporting the Technical Director on the delivery of international data centre projects
  • Coordinating design information between consultants, engineers and subcontractors
  • Managing drawing updates and ensuring technical information is accurately maintained
  • Assisting in the preparation of coordinated drawing packages for construction
  • Supporting the technical delivery process from early concept through to construction stages
  • Working closely within a collaborative studio environment to ensure efficient project delivery
 Requirements
  • Relevant Architectural degree
  • Experience Part II Architectural Assistant or Architectural Technologist background
  • Strong working proficiency in Revit
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and efficiently within a technical team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident working within a collaborative office environment
  • Interest in developing technical expertise within complex infrastructure projects
