A growing multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy are looking to strengthen their Civil Engineering team with the appointment of a Senior Civil Engineer in their Nottingham office.
With a nationwide presence and a long-established reputation within the built environment sector, the business delivers integrated design and engineering services across a broad range of projects including commercial, defence, aviation, residential, education, and secure infrastructure developments. Their civil engineering teams work closely alongside structural, architectural, and building consultancy divisions, offering strong multidisciplinary project exposure and involvement across the full project lifecycle.
This particular role will focus heavily on defence, secure infrastructure, and aviation-related projects, making it an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work on technically interesting, process-driven infrastructure schemes within highly regulated environments.

The role

The successful candidate will support the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from conception through to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients across complex infrastructure environments.

Typical responsibilities will include:
• Civil and infrastructure design
• Coordination of multidisciplinary design teams
• Preparation of technical design packages
• Infrastructure and external works coordination
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Technical reporting and project delivery
• Supporting fee proposals and commercial delivery
• Ensuring projects are delivered to programme and budget

Projects are likely to include:
• Defence infrastructure
• Secure facilities
• Aviation-related developments
• Commercial and infrastructure schemes
• External works and civils packages
• Multidisciplinary built environment projects

Requirements
• UK consultancy experience within civil/infrastructure engineering
• Strong understanding of civils infrastructure and project delivery
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Ability to prepare technical packages from concept through completion
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
• Chartered or working toward chartership preferred
• Ability to obtain UK SC Clearance required
