Forklift Truck Driver

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently seeking Forklift Truck Drivers to join a successful and well-established logistics and distribution company based in the Newark area.

As a Forklift Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, always ensuring safety and accuracy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values its workforce and offers long-term career potential. Permanent contracts may be offered after 12 weeks worked through Pertemps.

What will I be paid?

• Pay rates starting from £12.24 to £13.38 per hour
  (Rate dependent on shift pattern and experience)

What will I be doing as a Forklift Truck Driver?

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks to move goods around the site
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Stacking and storing products in the correct areas
• Conducting regular checks on equipment and reporting any issues
• Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
• Following all health & safety procedures

What skills and experience do I need?

• Valid Forklift Truck licence – Counterbalance and/or Reach (in-house or accredited accepted)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Good level of attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must be able to commute reliably to the Newark area

Working hours:
Monday to Friday - Various shifts available:

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00
• 22:00 - 06:00
