You’ll work closely with your team to make sure cleaning and hygiene processes run smoothly and safely, ensuring the site consistently meets strict food industry standards. No two days are exactly the same, but every day brings the satisfaction of knowing your leadership helps keep operations safe, compliant, and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of hygiene operatives to deliver outstanding standards
  • Ensure all hygiene and cleaning schedules are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards
  • Ensure all work is documented correctly and signed off in line with audit requirements
  • Promote a positive safety culture across the team
  • Support continuous improvement and efficiency within hygiene processes
  • Communicate effectively with management and operational teams
  • Motivate and guide your team to deliver consistent high-quality results

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience supervising or leading a team
  • Experience working within a food manufacturing or regulated production environment
  • Good understanding of audit standards and hygiene compliance within the food industry
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work confidently with minimal management input
  • A proactive, professional attitude with strong leadership qualities
  • Good communication skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene best practices
