Location: Wrexham
Salary: £51,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Continental shifts (12.25 hours, rotating days & nights – 05:45 to 18:00), 4 on / 4 off

Key Responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of production operations. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe working environment for employees and visitors
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to optimise equipment performance
- Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Working collaboratively with production, technical, and engineering teams
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and managing expectations effectively
- Ensuring audit readiness and compliance with relevant standards
- Working closely with project engineering teams on site improvements and upgrades
- Actively participating in ongoing training and development
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Proven experience in a similar engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Electrically or mechanically qualified (or time-served) with multi-skilled capability
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
- Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Familiarity with modern production machinery and automated systems
