Pertemps is recruiting professional 7.5T (C1) Drivers to support operations for Royal Mail at the Gloucester Mail Centre.

📦 The Role – Straightforward & Structured
 

• Delivering and collecting mail and parcels between Royal Mail centres

• Primarily driving – minimal manual handling

• Clean, well-maintained vehicles

• Organised depots and professional operations

• Monday to Friday shifts (occasional weekend work available if you want it)
  
  

This is simple trunk-style work that lets you focus on driving, not chasing multiple drops.


⏰ Shift Details

• PM start times between 12:00 – 15:00

• Average shift length: 7.25 hours

• Shifts scheduled one week in advance

• Immediate starts available

• Ongoing, year-round work

✅ What You’ll Need
 

• Valid 7.5T (C1) licence (held minimum 2 years)

• At least 180 days’ proven commercial driving experience

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

• No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements)

• Good geographical knowledge & professional attitude

• Strong understanding of Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations

• Confident completing manual tachograph entries

• Ability to pass DBS security clearance

• Completion of site assessment & induction
