Royal Mail HGV Driver - Friday Nights

Title: Class 2 & 7.5t (C1) Driver Friday Night - Royal Mail - Cardiff
Location: Cardiff
Pay: £17.25-£19.40 per hour 

Pertemps, in partnership with the Royal Mail - the UK’s trusted Universal Postal Service Provider - is seeking experienced Class 2 & 7.5t (C1) drivers to join their Cardiff Distribution Centre. 

You’ll be trunking parcels and mail between Royal Mail depots nationwide with minimal manual handling and shifts planned in advance.

What we’re looking for: 

• Valid 7.5t (C1) licence held for a minimum of 2 years with one year’s reference for commercial driving experience 

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards are essential 

• No more than 6 penalty points for minor endorsements (No DD/DR/IN/CD or TT endorsements) 

• Excellent geographical knowledge and professional attitude 

• Understanding of WTD and driver hours 

• Confident completing manual tachograph entries 

• Able to clear a DBS security check
