Panel Wirer

Pertemps Bristol Industrial are currently recruiting for a Panel Wirer, on a temporary basis, for one of our clients based in Midsomer Norton BA3.

 

• £18.00 per hour PAYE
  
  
• £23.33 per hour payment via Umbrella
  
  
• Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
  
  
• Free parking on site

About the role
 

• Prepare components, drawings, tools and working area to ensure an efficient build
  
  
• Production of control panels
  
  
• Assembly of components and cabling to meet design requirements
  
  
• Accurately and logically following schematic diagrams
  
  
• Crimp and Lug ends of cables to the relevant standard using the correct calibrated tool
  
  
• Liaising with manager on missing components and recording and reporting any mistakes found
  
  
• Using appropriate tools to securely fix components to the backplate
  
  
• To safely move motor control centres and steel frameworks around the workshops
  
  

 

The right candidate
 

• An experienced and confident electrical wirer with significant panel build experience
  
  
• Testing experience
  
  
• Good communication skills
  
  

 

 

This is a temporary contract with a duration of 2 to 3 months. Possible extension until the end of the year for the right candidate.
