Job Description

Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer required for a contract role based in Peterborough, PE2

£30 per hour PAYE
40 hours per week
Start as soon as possible, ongoing for 6-12 months

About the role

Working on transformational pipeline engineering projects for critical water transmission infrastructure
Managing a team, undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.

The right candidate

Comfortable with UK and international travel when required
Chartered Civil Engineer with + 2yrs relevant work experience
Experience in pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. eg HADES, Inforworks, EPANET.
Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
