Or client is a well-established regional systems fire alarm systems installer covering the London and South East areas with a good and growing client base. Due to strategic growth this installer are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their team. The successful applicant will be responsible for growing the business by identifying and responding to opportunities, prospecting and generating new business from various sectors. Working hybrid from home, at client premises and responsible for:
• Identify and secure the required Fire business effectively from new and existing clients to achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
• Respond and track effectively all allocated sales leads and prospects.
• Provide and maintain accurate forecasts, prospects lists / quote bank and sales status reports as required.
• Maintain a close working relationship with key customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage a pipeline of outstanding quotations to ensure monthly targets are met.
• Accurately prepare and present contracts and associated paperwork to prospective clients.

Candidates for this role with need proven fire alarm sales experience, and a technical, solution sales background. As a fire alarm systems BDM you will have a consultative sales approach and therefore a knowledge and understanding of fire detection systems which is essential to the role. You will also be PC literate with good familiarity with MS products as well as a full Driving Licence. This excellent opportunity comes with basic salary to £60,000 (negotiable) plus commission, car allowance, 25 days holiday and other benefits.
