Are you a highly organised and proactive administrator with a passion for events? We are looking for an Events Administrator to join a reputable and well-respected national professional membership body, supporting the Events Managers and Deputy Head of International, and Divisions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the smooth delivery of a diverse range of events across the UK and internationally. From behind-the-scenes planning to on-the-day coordination, you will provide essential support to ensure every event runs seamlessly — whether online or in person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Events Managers across all aspects of event coordination
  • Act as the first point of contact for event-related enquiries, delivering helpful and timely responses
  • Manage event communications, including speaker invitations, confirmations, and reminders
  • Monitor shared inboxes, respond to queries, and ensure records are accurately maintained
  • Process delegate and speaker registrations, payments, and refunds using the organisation’s database
  • Design and distribute marketing communications and promotional emails
  • Promote events via the organisation’s social media platforms
  • Prepare event materials such as delegate packs, name badges, printed documents, and attendance lists
  • Attend and support live events, offering on-site assistance to delegates, speakers, organisers, and committee members
  • Compile and present post-event reports using data collected from the organisation’s systems
  • Assist committees and clinical organisers with event-related administration
  • Create and maintain event webpages, ensuring content is clear, current, and engaging
  • Support the delivery of online events by managing technical production, including camera and microphone control
  • Conduct pre-event technical checks with speakers to ensure a smooth event experience
  • Provide technical support to online attendees to help them access and participate in events
  • Be willing and able to travel across England and stay overnight when required

About You:

You’ll be confident in managing competing priorities, with a professional and composed approach. Your communication skills will allow you to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and your strong attention to detail will ensure accuracy across all aspects of your work. You’ll have:
  • Experience in an administrative or events-based role
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence using databases, email marketing tools, and social media
