JOB TITLE: Commercial Solicitor
PQE: 7+ PQE
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: £80k plus

THE ROLE:
As the appointed commercial solicitor you will be advising a broad range of clients on commercial matters including complex commercial contracts and high-value supply and purchasing arrangements as well as agency and distribution agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing and data protection matters. This role offers exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactions and you will be working with the lead partner, taking a senior role within the Birmingham team. You will have the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior lawyers, lead on complex matters as well as play an active role in business development.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will have at least 7 years of experience in commercial and / or technology law and be a technically excellent lawyer with strong drafting and negotiation skills. Confident leading on transactions and managing client relationships, you will be a collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and developing junior colleagues. Commercially minded and enthusiastic about business development, the successful Commercial Solicitor will be ambitious and proactive and be looking for partnership prospects.
