JOB TITLE: Private Client Fee Earner                 
PQE REQUIRED: 3+       
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                 
SALARY: £35,000+ DOE                    

THE ROLE:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of private client matters from initial instruction through to completion. The work will include advising clients on wills, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney and other related private client matters.
You will be expected to provide clear and practical advice to clients while maintaining the highest standards of client care. The role will involve regular communication with clients, beneficiaries and other third parties to ensure matters progress efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements while contributing to the continued growth and development of the private client department.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and a strong background in private client work. You will have experience handling a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
You will be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision and will demonstrate strong technical knowledge across a broad range of private client matters. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and able to manage a busy workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves supporting clients through sensitive matters and building trusted relationships.
