Job Description

Criminal Paralegal / Worcestershire/Salary - £28000.00 - We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Criminal Paralegal to join a busy criminal defence team in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in criminal law while gaining hands-on experience supporting experienced solicitors and advocates.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting solicitors and advocates with preparation of criminal defence cases
• Drafting legal documents, statements, and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and external agencies
• Managing case files and ensuring accurate record keeping
• Conducting legal research and reviewing evidence
• Preparing case bundles for court hearings and trials

Requirements:
• Previous experience in criminal law or a legal support role preferred
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive and professional approach to client care
• Law degree, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification desirable but not essential
