SALARY: £95,000 - £110,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
A leading national firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join its established London team. You will advise a broad client base including developers, investors, occupiers and lenders on a wide range of commercial property matters.

The role will involve managing acquisitions and disposals of investment property, including sale and leaseback transactions, negotiating leases and associated landlord and tenant documentation, and advising on development projects including site acquisitions and development agreements. You will also be involved in portfolio management work, title investigations and advising on heads of terms, while working closely with colleagues across corporate, banking and construction on multi-disciplinary transactions.

This position offers a high level of autonomy, with responsibility for leading on transactions, supervising junior lawyers and maintaining key client relationships, alongside contributing to business development initiatives.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with between five and seven years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property. You will have strong experience across a range of real estate matters, including landlord and tenant work and development transactions.

Ideally, you will have trained and gained experience within a City firm environment, with exposure to transactions valued at £10 million or above. You will demonstrate strong technical ability, commercial awareness and the confidence to lead matters and manage client relationships effectively. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach are essential.
