Project Manager - Public Sector (Holiday Hub Provision)

Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Pay Rate: £23.56 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Start Date: Immediate

Pertemps Scotland is currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a valued public sector client based in central Edinburgh.

This short-term contract is an exciting opportunity to lead on the coordination and development of Holiday Hub services across the city. You'll play a key role in shaping sustainable, inclusive provision for children and young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN), supporting community engagement and future planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the delivery of Holiday Hub provision across the organisation.
Build partnerships with internal teams, parents/carers, third sector partners and external contractors.
Develop strategies, referral pathways, communication plans, and evaluation tools.
Provide expert guidance to senior officers and elected members.
Identify funding opportunities and support income generation for long-term sustainability.
Monitor project progress, report on outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of the third sector and working with children with ASN.
Proven experience in project management, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage complex projects with multiple priorities and partners.
Knowledge of relevant local and national policies.
Driving license is desirable as may have to travel between locations
