HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Sustainability Manager, with the opportunity to represent a progressive company, who are going through an exciting period of growth.
The role will be focused on advising and supporting the group on all sustainability related matters, implementing sustainability processes and strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Advise and support the Group on all sustainability related matters.
- Collate, review, and analyse sustainability related data, metrics, and reports to identify issues and potential opportunities for improvement within the Group.
- Complying with ESOS (energy saving opportunity scheme)
- SECR (streamlined energy and carbon reporting)
- Carbon reduction initiatives
- Accurate carbon reporting and calculation
- Identifying the detail required for net-zero target
- SMARTwaste development
- Develop detailed initiatives to reduce waste and improve circular economy
- Continue to develop initiatives for water efficiency
- Identify ways to improve BNG (biodiversity net gain) and enhance ‘living closer to nature’ initiatives
- Liaison and interface with the technical team
- Identify the detail required to meet London Square’s net zero targets
- Coordinate and deliver strategic initiatives for long-term performance gains
- Sustainability risk analysis
- TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures)
- Social Housing Reporting Standards
Experience required:
- An experienced Sustainability Manager looking to enhance their career and get involved from day one
- Preferable developer experience within the built environment
- A self-starter who can work independently and effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with gravitas and ability to influence and lead
- Comprehensive knowledge of Sustainability practices and metrics
- Passionate about Sustainability and Environmental initiatives.
