Job Description
Do you thrive in a purpose-driven environment where your expertise directly improves learner outcomes? If so, I’m currently looking for a confident and knowledgeable Quality professional who wants the opportunity to help shape the future of the Quality and Compliance provision. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from within the Early Years education sector and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and standards of independent training providers, however if you feel you meet most but not all these requirements, we would still love to hear from you!
The Role
As Curriculum Quality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving quality assurance across the organisation. You’ll have a passion for continuously monitoring and improving standards, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and funding requirements, and supporting curriculum development to enhance the learner experience.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading QA activities aligned to Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework
- Managing and developing the SAR and QIP
- Working closely with Awarding Bodies and internal teams to maintain high standards
- Supporting QAR performance through data analysis and improvement planning
- Leading curriculum reviews and resource enhancements
- Taking ownership of the Matrix accreditation process
- Occasional travel to other office locations to collaborate with colleagues
- Overseeing complaints, appeals and learner feedback processes
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance within FE or apprenticeships
- Strong working knowledge of apprenticeship standards and ESFA funding rules
- Confident in preparing for and contributing to Ofsted inspections (Nominee experience is a bonus)
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in Early Years education is highly desirable
- Hybrid working model
What’s in it for you
- A chance to genuinely influence quality and learner outcomes in a respected, rapidly growing organisation
- Salary between £45,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Hybrid working (1-2 days from home each week)
- Early finish on Fridays
- Two seasonal company parties per year
- Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment
