Job Description
Key responsibilities of a property manager:
- Tenant Management:
- Processing tenant applications and screening potential tenants.
- Executing lease agreements and collecting rent payments on time.
- Addressing tenant concerns and resolving disputes effectively.
- Conducting regular property inspections to maintain property condition.
- Enforcing lease terms and rules and regulations.
- Financial Management:
- Maintaining accurate financial records of property income and expenses.
- Preparing budgets and monitoring property financial performance.
- Collecting and managing security deposits.
- Overseeing rent increases and lease renewals.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Coordinating and supervising maintenance and repair activities.
- Responding promptly to tenant maintenance requests
- Vetting and managing vendor relationships for repairs and services.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Legal and Compliance:
- Staying updated on relevant property management laws and regulations.
- Handling eviction proceedings when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with fair housing practices
- Marketing and Leasing:
- Advertising vacant units to attract new tenants.
- Showing properties to prospective tenants.
- Maintaining property listings and online presence
Working within our Lettings Department in the heart of Burton on Trent DE14, providing a high level of customer service as a Property Manager.
You will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with your own client base of vendors, arranging contractor work, viewings and overall contact with landlords in relation to their property management.
Within the office, you will be required to handle incoming enquires and input information into our database, chase late rents and report to our vendors.
The Candidate will need to be confident to meet and greet, along with an ability to multitask.
Some experience within the customer service industry is required, whilst other aspects of this position will be supported, with in house training.
Job Types: Full-time, Commission, Permanent
Pay From £27,000 to £30,000 (OTE) within an attractive commission package.
