Pertemps are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a Successful Manufacturing company in Basingstoke.
You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products using hand tools and operating press brake machine.

Main Duties for Press Brake Operator:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine specifications.
- Producing bespoke orders using high tech manufacturing machines.
- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job.
- Load and unload the machine.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of the finished product.
- Inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections.
- Use of hand tools where necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in similar role - Essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of technical drawings.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude.
- Hard working, loyal and committed.
- Heavy lifting and manual work required.
- Be prepared to undertake training as required.
