Senior Tax Accountant

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established firm based in Andover who are currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant.  You will be part of an established team and your role will mostly involve working on personal tax compliance and tax advice. 
 
The responsibilities of the Tax Accountant include:

• Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Preparation and submission of P11D and Residential CGT returns
• Work with others in the business to ensure that an excellent service is given to clients
• Dealing with HMRC
• Recognising risks, planning and advisory opportunities and advising the relevant client partner
• Oversee and supervise a junior tax accountant

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified ATT or CTA.  Candidates who have relevant experience but not qualified will also be considered.
 
What you will need to be great for this role:

• Good organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience is a similar tax accountant role
• Personal tax experience
• CTA or ATT qualified
