Up to £45,000 + Bonus + Study Support
 
Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a successful international business based in Central London who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional to join a dynamic organisation offering strong career development, study support and exposure across multiple entities within a fast-paced commercial environment.
 
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, month-end processes, reconciliations and compliance activities across the group.
 
Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

• Managing fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure reporting
• Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining control accounts
• Supporting payroll processing and reporting activities
• Assisting with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
• Supporting year-end and interim audit processes
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assisting with financial statements and wider finance projects
• Supporting continuous improvement within finance processes and controls

 
Requirements for this Financial Accountant position:

• Previous experience within a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Part-qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA
