An established and fast-growing top 25 UK accountancy and advisory firm is offering an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join their audit and accounts team in Leeds from September 2025.
You’ll begin your career on a structured apprenticeship pathway, combining on-the-job training with study support for your AAT Level 3 & 4 qualification. With a clear progression route and continued support, this role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term future in accountancy, audit, or tax.

As the Trainee Accountant, you will be:
- Learning how to prepare financial accounts and analyse financial data.
- Supporting the audit and accounts teams on client engagements.
- Gaining hands-on experience in tax, audit, and general practice work.
- Learning to navigate accounting systems and software (Excel, cloud platforms).
- Building professional client relationships and providing excellent service.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the office where needed.
Who We're Looking For:
- Educated to A-Level standard (grades C and above) or equivalent.
- Have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4 (C) or above.
- Strong with Microsoft Excel and numerically confident.
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and eager to learn.
- Friendly, professional and a strong team player.
- Proactive, with good communication skills.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one).
