“Practice isn’t the thing you do once you’re good. It’s the thing you do that makes you good.”  Malcolm Gladwell.

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be supporting a growing accountancy practice in High Wycombe with the recruitment of a Practice Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take on a key leadership role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the firm while driving forward growth and efficiency.

  • Lead client onboarding processes and coordinate the allocation of work across the team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Prepare management accounts and financial reports required by external stakeholders.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery within the practice.
  • Oversee billing and debtor management across the client portfolio and wider department, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with partners to support strategic planning and business development.

The successful Practice Manager will have:

  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in managing client relationships.

If you are an experienced practice professional looking for the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity. Please click apply and one of our Sheridan Maine consultants will be in touch.
