A growing accountancy firm in Hertfordshire is seeking an Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior or Senior to join their friendly and professional team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of clients, gaining experience in both accounts preparation and tax compliance, while developing your technical skills and career.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior or Senior:

• Preparation of accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Handling tax compliance for individuals and businesses, including self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
• Assisting with VAT returns and payroll where required.
• Supporting senior team members with client queries and accounting projects.
• Reviewing work of junior staff and mentoring where applicable.
• Maintaining client relationships and ensuring deadlines are met.

The successful Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior or Senior:

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
• Professional manner and strong communication skills.
