You'll also help capture key learnings from the exercises to support continuous business improvement.
Beyond exercise coordination, you'll contribute to core Operational Resilience functions such as emergency planning training, learning, and reporting, making a real difference across the team.
What you’ll be doing as an Incident Response Project Coordinator:
- Supporting the team with essential department activities, including managing external stakeholders, operational plan writing, rising tide incident management, and ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Clearly communicating the department's progress on plan writing, training, exercises, and key learnings.
- Managing SharePoint and file systems to ensure everything is organised and easily accessible when needed.
- Developing and maintaining internal documents to keep our records up to date.
- Attending Local Resilience Forums and representing Thames Water when required, including during training and exercises.
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure resilience activities are planned, compliant with regulations, and effectively delivered on time.
Working hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times available.
What you should bring to the role:
- Experience in scheduling, planning, or coordinating would be a plus.
- Working knowledge of SEMD regulations and experience of emergency planning would be of benefit.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting project deadlines.
- Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new software tools.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Competitive salary from £32,640 to £40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
- Annual Leave - 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service
- Generous Pension Scheme through AON
- Access to lots of benefits to help you take care of you and your family’s health and wellbeing, and your finances – from annual health MOTs and access to physiotherapy and counselling, to Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers and life assurance.
