What You’ll Be Doing as the Field Engineer:
- Conducting field surveys for new mains and service connections—getting it right the first time.
- Ensuring water regulations compliance through on-site inspections.
- Liaising with customers, contractors, and councils to keep projects running smoothly.
- Performing site inspections on sewer connections and adoptions, ensuring high standards.
- Carrying out Health & Safety audits and championing safe practices.
- This is a field-based role covering London and the Thames Water region, so flexibility and travel are required.
What you should bring to the role:
- Experience in traffic management, water regulations, main laying, or water networks.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety, Streetworks standards, and NRSWA / TMA.
- Strong communication skills—you’ll be working with a variety of stakeholders.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).

- A plumbing or pipeline construction background would be a bonus.
