Job Description
As a MuleSoft Technical Lead, you’ll be supporting the data & integration strategy working with various stakeholders from different projects.
As a member of the team, you will use your knowledge and expertise of MuleSoft to guide the business and develop outcomes in accordance with requirements. Being familiar with the wide amount of capability provided within MuleSoft, you will identify, build, and test high-quality technical solutions ensuring the expected functionality is provided.

What you’ll be doing as a Mulesoft Technical Lead
- Create the high-level design of integration solutions and guide on the choice of Mule components and patterns to use in the detailed design and implementation
- Collaborate with project/product teams to create, design and deliver a range of re-useable cloud solutions using MuleSoft
- Lead a development, testing and support team of engineers to support and enhance existing solutions and to deliver new solutions
- Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, versioning, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions
- Own and manage deployments of new releases to the production environment
- Perform peer checking of colleague’s deliverables ensuring outcomes follow best-practice and meet expected standards
- Continually reviewing the development and approaches to ensure base standards are consistent and latest platform features are being used
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and agree the definition of done

What you should bring to the role
Essential
- Extensive experience in a MuleSoft role
- Hands on development experience of Integration Patterns and MuleSoft best practices and standards
- Strong experience in designing reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects (RAML, REST, SOAP)
- Proven experience working within multiple software development lifecycle methodologies
- Experience in other integration platforms preferably SAP Integration Suite
- Previous experience of continuous improvement using commonly available DevOps and Agile tooling to enable quicker, simpler, and safer methods of delivery
- Utility industry experience
- Competitive salary of up to £83,000 per annum depending on experience
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
