Job Title: Transport Operations Coordinator
📍 Location: Rugby, Warwickshire 
💷 Salary: £25,000 per annum / £12.82 per hour
🕒 Shifts: Rotating – 07:00–15:00 | 09:00–17:00 | 11:00–19:00

🚛 Join a Leading Logistics Team as a Transport Operations Coordinator! Are you a proactive and organised individual with a background in logistics, transport, or supply chain operations? We’re looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help deliver high-quality service across the UK and Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience in transport admin or operations, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate transport operations from subcontractor warehouses to processing centres
  • Manage inbound/outbound delivery schedules and bookings
  • Liaise with hauliers, customers, and internal departments via phone and email
  • Monitor deliveries and collections to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain accurate records and update transport schedules
  • Resolve booking issues, rebook missed loads, and communicate delays
  • Support KPI/SLA tracking and ensure performance targets are met
  • Assist with transport performance reviews and internal reporting
✅ What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in transport or logistics operations
  • Strong admin skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Previous experience in retail supply chain is a bonus
  • European or international logistics knowledge is desirable
