Job Description
This is a broad and exciting Treasury Accountant role at the UK’s largest Water and Wastewater Company, in which you will gain exposure to our wider business and on all elements of
treasury.

This role will give the right person an exciting challenge and scope to help shape the direction of our Treasury team.
What you’ll be doing as a Treasury Accountant as part of the Group Treasury team
- Support half-year and year-end process, including preparation of IFRS financial statements and notes/disclosures for stand-alone and consolidated financial statements.
- Preparation of Regulatory reporting tables.
- Preparation of Group Treasury Annual Budget and Periodic Forecasts, and being reliable for the production of monthly Treasury reporting pack.
- Responsible for timely and accurate treasury accounting.
- Update/document Treasury accounting and reporting processes.
- Identify process gaps and improve reporting processes.
- Support for internal and external audit.
- Deliver/support treasury projects.
- Work closely with the Group Financial Accounting team to ensure that all Treasury data is correctly produced and presented.
- Work as ‘one team’ with the other finance functions.
Working Pattern: 36 Hours
What you should bring to the role
- Qualified or part-qualified ACCA / ACA with extensive experience in accounting and reporting experience.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Effective communicator and strong attention to detail/accuracy.
- Good team player.
- Familiar with SAP, HFM or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Treasury Transactions and Treasury Management systems.
- Competitive salary of circa £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
- Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
