Job Description
As part of this, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Coordinator & Analyst to join the Strategic Operations and Transformation Performance team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal part in supporting the successful delivery of our strategic transformation portfolio by providing high-quality project governance, reporting, and assurance support.
What you’ll be doing as a PMO Coordinator & Analyst
- Work with and build strong working relationships with programme and project managers, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
- You will be tracking and monitoring adherence to governance processes and delivery standards across projects and programmes.
- Supporting with creation of project and programme plans, risk management, issue resolution, and change control activities while maintaining and continuously improving PMO frameworks, tools, and templates.
- Support with activities covering, but not limited to, delivery assurance, coordinating meetings, agendas, creating presentations, administering the programme level RAID, delivery plan, actions tracking, minute-taking, onboarding, activity planning and general programme support.
- Analysis of data, preparation of portfolio and programme reports, and executive-level reporting and board packs.
- Support communications and engagement activities related to project delivery and change management.
Base location – This is a hybrid role from Clearwater Court in Reading, with the expectation of working on site across the Thames Water estate as required.
Working hours are 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday

What you should bring to the role
The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role are:
- Proven experience in a PMO, project support, or analyst role within a transformation or change environment.
- Experience working across complex, multi-project portfolios.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Valid UK driver’s licence and access to a car for business use.
- Strong understanding of project and programme management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
- Experience in benefits tracking and financial analysis.
- Experience working in regulated or large-scale operational environments.
- Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum.
- Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
