Job Description
What you’ll be doing as a Customer Liaison:
- Leading odour reporting and investigations across site teams.
- Building strong relationships with councils, councillors, and residents.
- Managing customer queries and complaints via the Mogden mailbox.
- Overseeing odour maintenance and monitoring using Envirosuite.
- Maintaining the Odour Management Plan and updating the Mogden website.
- Ensuring timely follow-up on customer-impacting issues.
- Championing a customer-first approach and collaborating across teams.
Base location: Hybrid - Mogden (STW) - TW7 7LW
Working pattern or hours: 36 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)
What should you bring to the role?
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:
- Proven experience in customer service, stakeholder management, or community liaison roles.
- Operational management experience, ideally within the water industry or a similar regulated environment.
- Project management skills and experience delivering improvements based on customer feedback.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Experience working in or with wastewater treatment or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience engaging with local communities and managing sensitive issues.
- Familiarity with complaint management systems and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in using Envirosuite or similar environmental monitoring platforms.
